Job Function
Responsibilities
•
Reviews work orders to determine material needed
•
Retrieves material and stages for shearing
•
Shears material per work order requirements
•
Measures material as needed to ensure tolerances are met
•
Ensures measuring devices are in good working order
•
Packages material as needed for storage or shipment
•
Completes and submits all required paperwork
•
Completes all required computer/data entry
•
Performs preventive maintenance on shear as assigned
•
Maintains a clean and neat work area
•
Operates a forklift, crane, or other material handling equipment as needeD.
•
Assists with loading or unloading trucks
•
Assists with any other warehouse duties as assigned
