About the role
ERM is hiring a Project Manager, CSRD Reporting & Disclosure Readiness to support a large multinational organization’s CSRD readiness and reporting program remotely base in the Eastern time zone. This individual will serve as an extension of the client’s Corporate Sustainability team, providing hands-on program management and reporting/disclosure support across multiple functional workstreams. The position requires strong knowledge of CSRD and ESRS, combined with experience in sustainability reporting, program management, data and controls, and assurance readiness. This is anticipated to be a part-time (16 hours per week), limited-term assignment, requiring consistent weekly availability with the ability to flex during peak reporting and assurance periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Maintain and manage the integrated CSRD readiness plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions and critical-path activities.
•
Coordinate CSRD readiness activities across ESRS 2 and material sustainability topics, working with topic owners, functional owners and data owners to drive actions to completion.
•
Establish and manage an effective working cadence across workstreams, including meetings, action tracking, status reporting, issue resolution and escalation.
•
Coordinate development and review of narrative and quantitative CSRD disclosures, helping maintain consistency across sustainability programs, metrics, methodologies, narratives, claims and supporting evidence.
•
Support follow-up and remediation of gaps related to policies, programs, metrics, methodologies, data, controls, evidence and disclosure readiness.
•
Coordinate data validation, data-lineage documentation, internal-control readiness and evidence requirements with appropriate internal stakeholders.
•
Support assurance-readiness activities, including coordination with assurance providers, evidence requests, open-item tracking and remediation.
•
Establish and maintain repeatable reporting processes, including reporting calendars, RACIs, review and approval pathways, decision logs, templates and controlled reporting language.
•
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants supporting reporting technology, IT and other CSRD activities to ensure dependencies are effectively managed.
•
Coordinate with sustainability reporting resources to align overlapping disclosures, narratives, metrics, evidence requests and timelines and minimize duplicative requests to internal stakeholders.
•
Translate CSRD and ESRS requirements into practical actions for functional teams and appropriately escalate significant policy, risk, resource or disclosure issues.
