aCommerce is Southeast Asia leading ecommerce enablement company, helping brands build, operate, and grow their Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and omnichannel businesses across the region. We are looking for a Tech Solutions Consultant who can bridge business strategy and technology. This role partners with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Project Management, and external clients to design scalable ecommerce and digital commerce solutions.
About the role
The ideal candidate understands (or has a strong desire to learn) modern ecommerce ecosystems including Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM/CDP platforms, ERP integrations, OMS, WMS, payment gateways, and digital marketing technologies. More importantly, this person understands how businesses think. They can translate commercial objectives into practical technical solutions while balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, implementation effort, and long-term scalability.
Role Overview
As a Tech Solutions Consultant, you will become the trusted advisor during the pre-sales and solution design stages of a project. You will work closely with clients to understand their business goals, identify challenges, recommend technology solutions, estimate implementation efforts, and ensure successful transition into delivery.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities1. Client Discovery & Business Consulting
•
Lead discovery workshops with prospective and existing clients
•
Understand business objectives, customer journeys, operational challenges, and digital commerce strategies
•
Identify opportunities to improve ecommerce performance through technology
•
Translate business requirements into solution requirements
•
Become a trusted advisor for clients throughout the solutioning process
2.
Solution Design & Architecture
•
Design scalable D2C and ecommerce solutions aligned with client objectives
•
Recommend appropriate technology stacks including:
o Shopify
o Shopify Plus
o Magento (Adobe Commerce)
o Salesforce Marketing Cloud
o CRM & CDP platforms
o OMS & WMS
o ERP integrations
o Payment gateways
o Loyalty platforms
o Customer Service platforms
•
Work closely with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, and Project teams to validate technical feasibility
•
Create high-level architecture diagrams and business process flows
•
Recommend best practices for scalability, security, maintainability, and customer experience
3.
Commercial Solutioning
•
Support Commercial teams throughout the sales cycle
•
Help qualify opportunities from both technical and business perspectives
•
Estimate implementation effort, timelines, resources, and project complexity
•
Identify project assumptions, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
•
Participate in client presentations and solution workshops
•
Help clients understand implementation approaches and recommended technology investments
4.
Project Scoping & Documentation
•
Prepare Statements of Work (SOW)
•
Define project scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, and client responsibilities
•
Produce functional requirement documents and solution documentation
•
Maintain pre-sales documentation and project estimation templates
•
Ensure successful handover to Delivery and Project Management teams
5.
Cross Functional Collaboration
•
To ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with deliverycapabilities.Work closely with:
 Commercial & Business Development
 Product Management
 UX/UI
 Project Managers
 Engineering
 QA
 Application Support
 DevOps
 Logistics & Fulfillment
 Marketing Technology teams
6.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
 Build trusted relationships with clients throughout the sales journey
 Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
 Present complex technical concepts in a simple business-friendly manner
 Manage expectations and proactively resolve issues
 Drive alignment across internal cross-functional teams
Success in this Role
A successful Tech Solutions Consultant will:

Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or related disciplines
•
3–6+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, technology consulting, or solution consulting
•
Experience participating in client-facing solution discussions, working with cross-functional teams
•
Experience in software implementation or digital transformation projects
•
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento / Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM / CDP platforms, ERP integrations, OMS, WMS, Payment Gateway integrations, APIs, Middleware, Cloud platforms
•
Good understanding of Ecommerce architecture, API integrations, System integrations, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Databases, Web technologies, Digital marketing ecosystem, Customer journeys, Martech stack, Omnichannel commerce
•
Hands-on development experience is not required, but the ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams is essential
•
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written: Thai & English
•
Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to client sites
