Job Description:
About the role
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Technician to join our team!
THIS IS A TRAVEL POSITION. SELECTED CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED.
What You’ll Be Doing:
•
This is a travelling installations technician spot. CONUS and OCONUS
•
Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
•
Prepare reports of tests results and assessments of key electronic systems to ensure efficient operations
•
Identify defects with various components and find suitable replacements
•
Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including controls, power supplies, gauges, and sensors
•
Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and multi-meters
•
Pull and terminate low voltage signal and network cables
•
Install, fusion-splice, and terminate fiber optic cable
•
Read and understand installation design plans, schematics, and manufacturers’ literature for electrical and electronic components
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
•
Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
•
At least two years in electronics technology.
•
Must have a minimum SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

Must have a passport.
•
