This role is part of Alcon’s Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Technician II, Molding & Tooling Production Operations, is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks related to operating molding tools and equipment with minimal supervision. You will conduct quality inspections, handle materials, operate automated equipment, and resolve issues. This role involves mold changes, collaborating with various departments, and troubleshooting medical device molds, requiring advanced technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to maintain high production standards and efficiency.
