About Growth Kitchen
Growth Kitchen is on a mission to make eating great food the norm. We license well-known restaurant brands, such as GBK and The Athenian, into existing pubs, hotels and takeaways, so kitchen operators can sell food people already love from the kitchen they already run.
The role
We’re hiring a Multi-site Operations Manager to get new kitchen partners live and keep them cooking to brand standard. You’ll travel to sites across the UK, train kitchen teams on our brands, and help partners grow once they’re up and running.
Every kitchen you launch is a new revenue stream for our partners, our brands and Growth Kitchen. It’s a hands-on role with a lot of variety: one day you’re on the line teaching a team a new menu, the next you’re talking a partner through their sales and how to grow them.
You’ll sit in the Account Management team and work closely with our Account Managers and Onboarding team. It’s a great way to step out of a single kitchen and into working across many, with a clear path into Account Management as you grow.
What you’ll do
•
Travel to partner kitchens across the UK to train teams and get new sites live
•
Train kitchen teams on food prep, cooking and presentation for each brand, plus the Growth Kitchen and brand playbooks, so every site launches to standard
•
Plan upcoming launches alongside running the current week’s, keeping a busy schedule on track
•
Run on-site checks at live kitchens and help teams cook more accurately and consistently
•
Get hands-on when a site has a problem, and fix it with the team in the room
•
Have practical commercial conversations with partners about how they can grow their sales with us
•
Hand newly launched kitchens over smoothly to our Account Managers
•
Share what you see in the field with the Onboarding team so every launch gets better than the last
•
Be the face of Growth Kitchen in the kitchen: professional, positive and representing our standards
What you’ll learn
Benefits
This role is built to teach you how delivery restaurants work from the inside out. Within your first year you’ll have seen it all:
•
How multiple restaurant brands are built, cooked and kept consistent across dozens of different kitchens
•
How delivery platforms like Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat work, and what drives sales on them
•
How pubs, hotels and takeaways run, and what makes a partner successful or not
•
The commercial side: margins, menus and how a kitchen grows its revenue
•
How a fast-growing startup launches, supports and scales a national network
Requirements
•
You’ve worked hands-on in restaurants or professional kitchens, whether as a chef, kitchen manager, AGM, GM or similar, and you can earn a kitchen team’s respect quickly
•
You’re happy travelling across the UK most weeks (paid), with flexible hours but never weekends or bank holidays
•
You’re organised and self-sufficient, and can keep a full diary with lots of moving parts under control
•
You communicate clearly and can train and motivate a team you’ve only just met
•
You’re curious about the commercial side of running a kitchen, not just the cooking
•
You’re resilient and adaptable: no two kitchens are the same
•
You’re hungry to learn, open to coaching and keen to take ownership
•
You’re fluent in English and have the right to work in the UK
Benefits
•
A clear path into Account Management
•
Hands-on exposure to well-known restaurant brands, many kitchen operations and the delivery platform ecosystem
•
Real responsibility early on, and the autonomy to do the job your way
•
Competitive salary and stock options
•
Pension scheme and private health insurance
•
25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
•
Paid travel across the UK
•
Ambitious, fun people who care about doing things properly
