Overview
CIS Secure is seeking a Front-End Software Developer – Modeling & Simulation / HITL to join our team supporting the REACT program at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.
The Front-End Software Developer will develop modern software interfaces supporting modeling and simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), and advanced engineering environments for critical national security missions. This role will build intuitive applications that allow engineers and operators to configure systems, visualize complex data, control simulations, and interact with physical and simulated hardware.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•
Design and implement user interfaces for engineering, simulation, and test applications.
•
Work closely with modeling and simulation engineers, embedded developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers to translate complex technical workflows into usable software.
•
Develop modern front-end applications that integrate with real-time data, simulation environments, and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
•
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
•
Experience developing production-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar.

No regular travel is anticipated for this position.
