Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $223,000 - $250,000.

About the role
Summary:
The Senior Hands-On Software Architect is responsible for defining and maintaining the technical architecture for the Nexity platform while remaining actively involved in software design, development, and code review. This role partners closely with engineering leadership, product management, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support Towne’s strategic objectives.
This position combines strategic architectural leadership with hands-on technical execution, providing guidance to development teams while helping solve complex engineering challenges.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Descriptive Statement(s)
Define and maintain the overall architecture for the Nexity platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Develop architecture standards, design patterns, and technical documentation to promote consistency across engineering teams.
Participate in software development, code reviews, and technical design discussions while maintaining high engineering standards.
Partner with software engineers to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify opportunities to improve system performance and scalability.
Design and review integrations with third-party applications, APIs, payment platforms, and enterprise systems.
Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers across multiple teams.
Establish best practices for software architecture, security, testing, and deployment.
Support cloud architecture and infrastructure decisions within Microsoft Azure.
Promote the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency and code quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
•

Work Experience:

SCOPE
Authority to Act:
