LGT Wealth Management was formed around a clear and uncompromising vision – to bring global best practice in building institutional quality investment portfolios to Australian clients.
With a shared passion for building an uncompromised business – we created something new from the ground up. A chance to leave behind the things that weren’t working, while enhancing the things that were. Our authentic and personalised client-first commitment. Our entrepreneurial spirit. Our focus in best-in-class advice. And our intimate understanding of the Australian private wealth landscape.
In 2022 we became a part of the LGT Group, who shared our entrepreneurial spirit, long-term approach and private-ownership model. Today, with the global expertise, stability, and capability of LGT behind us, we can work without being reliant on markets or margins, with a singular focus on giving our clients the advice and deep expertise they need for generations to come.
About the role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support, maintain and continuously improve the digital client portal and its connected services at LGT Wealth Management Australia. You will help keep our client-facing platforms secure and reliable while improving the processes supporting client reporting and document distribution.
Reporting to the Lead Software Specialist, you will join the Application Support team within the Platform Team. Working with engineering, Cyber Security, Operations, delivery teams and vendors, you will resolve production issues, strengthen integrations and deliver sustainable improvements.
This hands-on role combines Angular frontend engineering, production support and DevOps practices. You will own the portal’s technical lifecycle, support document flows across our Avaloq platforms and reduce technical debt through automation and testing.
If you enjoy solving production problems, improving digital experiences and making systems more resilient, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
•
Own the digital client portal’s operation, including availability, performance, monitoring, maintenance, incident response and continuous improvement.
•
Maintain and improve Angular applications, including component design, frontend standards, performance, browser compatibility and upgrades to Angular, Node.js and third-party dependencies.
•
Diagnose browser, application and container issues using logs, traces and metrics, addressing root causes and implementing lasting improvements.
•
Maintain reliable document logging, replication, reconciliation and recovery across Avaloq Core Platform (ACP), Avaloq Front Solution (AFS) and Avaloq Front Platform (AFP).
•
Support portal APIs and integrations, partnering with engineering and platform teams to resolve interface and data issues.
•
Work with Cyber Security to address vulnerabilities and security findings, support web application firewall policies, certificates and access controls, and troubleshoot authentication, authorisation, federation and entitlements.
•
Release changes safely through peer review, automated testing, version control and CI/CD, including regression testing, production verification and rollback readiness.
•
Provide business-as-usual support to business users and Software Specialists, meeting agreed service levels and escalating incidents effectively.
•
Automate client statement generation, validation, distribution and exception management, with appropriate controls and auditability.
•
Partner with Quality Assurance on test coverage and non-production environments; maintain documentation in Confluence and manage work through Jira Service Management and Ivanti.
•
Participate in rostered after-hours support for releases and priority incidents when required, in line with team arrangements.
