Responsibilities
1.Function as a member of the neurosurgical team alongside neurosurgery faculty, one neuro-intensivist, one resident, and multiple advanced practice providers. 2.Provide critical care management and operative management of patients with cranial and spinal injuries. 3. Participate in elective neurosurgical cases when qualified resident participation is not available. 4. Demonstrate progressive independence in patient evaluation and management. 5. Coordinate presentation of cases in Morbidity and Mortality Conference during the University of Colorado Neurosurgery Grand Rounds. 6. Select outcomes for root cause analysis and assign team member tasks in monthly Denver Health Morbidity and Mortality Conference.7. Actively participate in journal clubs, neurosurgery case conferences, neurosurgery lecture/seminar series, asynchronous learning, Greenberg review and board preparation. 8. Participate in research primarily focused on clinical/translational care. 9.
