About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counselors to oversee and engage with our young members & guests during summer camps and recreational activities at The Dominion Country Club. The ideal candidate will create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment, ensuring all participants have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
•
Supervise and lead group activities, games, and sports for children
•
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
•
Foster positive relationships and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and good behavior
•
Assist with setting up activities and maintaining a clean, organized space
•
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers
•
Enforce rules and safety protocols consistently
•
Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies
Requirements
Qualifications:
•
Must be at least 17 years old
•
Previous experience working with children or in recreational settings is a plus
•
CPR certification is helpful but not required; training may be provided
•
Strong communication and leadership skills
•
Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods
•
Energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children
