Lexington First shift
The Forklift Driver / Shipper is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and ship products. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory handling, and timely shipment of goods.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders or invoices
Move materials to and from storage areas, staging areas, and loading docks
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues
Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
Keep warehouse clean and organized
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous warehouse, shipping, or forklift experience preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs or more)
Basic math and recordkeeping skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $15.26–$22.88.
