About the role
Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program isseeking a full-time Psychiatric Provider Aide for our BehavioralHealth Department in Lynnwood, WA.The Psychiatric Provider Aide supports Psychiatric prescribers inadministrative and clinical areas. This position also works withMental Health Therapists and Chemical Dependency Professionals incoordinating care to ensure continuity of care for clients. ThePsychiatric Provider Aide provides screenings and case management incoordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.Candidate participates actively as a team member in the delivery ofclient services, and the coordination of community support services. Assists in insuring agency compliance with WAC’s, RCW’s, and otherpertinent laws, regulations, and contracts. In addition staff willensure that charts, prescription refill requests, and all informationor paperwork the psychiatric prescriber will need is prepared ahead oftime and organized in the fashion preferred by the prescriber. Ensuremedication storage, maintenance, dispensation and waste logs aremaintained in accordance with Sea Mar policies and procedures. Anyarea of non-compliance should be reported immediately to thesupervisor/manager, if applicable. Ensures that all medical, nursing,health & safety and personnel policies and procedures are beingfollowed and implemented. This description does not suggest or implythat these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
