POSITION SUMMARY:
Installs, maintains and repairs the hospitals plumbing systems. Operates, tests and overhauls water distribution systems, gas distribution systems, waste disposal systems, fire protection distribution systems and others.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
•
Performs all repairs and maintenance of all plumbing systems and components for efficient and cost-effective BMC operations
including but not limited to medical gas distribution systems, sewage ejectors, sump pumps, lab waste, domestic water distribution
systems, heating distribution systems, steam distribution systems, RODI distribution systems, fire protection distribution systems,
Low Pressure Boilers and others.
· Plans and performs preventative maintenance schedule as assigned. Makes rounds as assigned and inspects equipment and records.
Enters data into appropriate database.
