Position Summary:
Ensuring all tasks in the area of production planning cans
Key Activities / Measurables:
•
Conduct weekly short- and medium-term planning based on forecasts and overarching can planning for Food and VSP
•
Create daily and weekly production schedules
•
Reconciliation between short-term scheduling and medium-term planning
•
Coordinating planning activities within Sonoco as part of the supply chain
•
Participation in the PSI process Europe for the VSP division
•
Ensure continuity of material supply in close collaboration with the Ends and MPC planners
•
independent and responsible material requirements planning and coordination with other departments
•
Striving for optimal inventories while ensuring customer service and optimizing plant utilization
•
Participation in the further development of existing planning methods
•
Representation of colleagues within production planning
•
Contributing to the further development of existing planning methods
