Why this role matters
As a Robotics Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Exotec’s advanced robotic solutions across multiple customer sites in the Venlo and Venray area. Through your expertise and problem-solving skills, you will ensure maximum system availability and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What you’ll do
Maintain highly automated robotic systems
•
Keep our Skypod® system, robots, conveyors and related equipment running at peak performance.
•
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
•
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software issues.
Ensure operational excellence
•
Monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
•
Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
•
Support continuous reliability improvements.
Support installation and expansion projects
•
Assist with the deployment of new systems and equipment.
•
Participate in upgrades and optimization initiatives across customer sites.
Deliver outstanding customer support
•
Build strong relationships with on-site customer teams.
•
Respond quickly to technical issues and emergency situations when required.
•
Support customer training and contribute to an exceptional service experience.
What to expect
Shift pattern: Primarily flexible day shifts, with approximately 20-25% morning or afternoon shifts
Travel expectations: Regular travel between customer sites in the Venlo and Venray area

Requirements
Technical skills

1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, automation, robotics or a similar technical environment
