Responsibilities
About the role
The Software Engineer focuses on the development of cloud-based products and services.
•
Participate in the design and implementation of new features in cloud-based products and improve existing features as required
•
Provide input into technical design, cloud infrastructure requirements, optimization approaches, stability improvements, and scalability enhancements
•
Provide feedback on requirements from a technical perspective and provide estimates for projects and tasks
•
Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to identify and resolve defects
•
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy applications and solve environment-related issues
•
Investigate and determine the root cause of software and service problems reported by clients and provide solutions, fixes, and improvements
•
Comply with coding standards and SDLC requirements
•
Maintain technical documentation
•
Review code submitted by other team members

Benefits
For Canada-based roles only: The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $89,200.00- $129,400.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, vacation, a retirement savings plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
