About the role
Location: Deploying to the Marshall Islands.
Job Summary:
The Lieutenant on Kwajalein supervises small groups of guards or assumes positions requiring greater responsibility for Entry & Exit, Dock Security Checkpoint, or the Central Police Station.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Handles all personnel and visitors arriving to or departing from Kwajalein Island by marine vessels.
•
Supervises small groups of guards.
•
Supervises small group of Local National (LN) Access Control Officers.
•
Liaisons with LN Customs Officers.
•
Coordinate and assist with Foreign National (FN) escorts when required.
•
Become familiar with Host Nation Customs and Courtesies.
•
Assist with Access Control Procedures during special events.
•
Ensures that all assigned guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel.
•
Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders.
Qualifications:
•
Must be a U.S. citizen.
•
Must be 21 years of age or older.
•
Must have an active U.S. Secret Clearance.
•
Minimum 3 years of security management experience in supervisory and/or management roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
ASIS CPP certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
•
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
