About the role
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join as a member of SEL General Construction team. We design, build, operate, and maintain 2.7m sq. ft in over 20 countries around the world. As a Construction Laborer, you will work along side Superintendents, Construction Managers, and external contractors to coordinate and meet project objectives in buildings that support over 8,000 employee owners achieve our mission of making electric power safer, more reliable and more economical.
A typical day as a Construction Laborer might include:
•
Executing facilities services and repairs of moderate complexity including handling tasks like operating power tools, site preparation, and transporting materials
•
Assisting employees in routine duties, techniques, and department goals
•
Performing basic repairs or equipment installations, painting, and small carpentry repairs
•
Following and promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities

Pay Range Data:
Construction Laborer: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
