Assist towards the marketing of the travel clinic
Prevent medical errors and continuously improve healthcare quality
Provide patient care that is respectful of, and responsive to, individual patient preferences, needs and values
Ensure procedures are explained to the patient
Ensure accurate recording of patient care
Identify chronic disease cases and refer appropriately
Ensure confidentiality of data at all times
Ensure calibration of equipment is in accordance with standards and protocols
Perform prompt and effective medical assistance to employees in acute and chronic situations
Provide health education to clients during every visit
Ensure all waste documentation is recorded on HCRW reconciliation and submitted monthly
Ensure effective case management to ensure optimum value and desirable outcomes for all identified cases
Maintain good relationship with business client and service providers
Drive achievement of transformation goals as set out by the Transformation Committee
Work effectively and co-operatively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships that are mutually beneficial

About the role
The Occupational Health & Travel Nurse Practitioner, assumes responsibility for the co-ordination, provision and establishment of quality, efficient care to clients and their employees, that leads to the promotion, protection and restoration of the persons health within a safe working environment and during cross border travel.
Provide up to date, accurate information on the health and safety aspects of specific destinations, to travellers to ensure the traveller remains healthy during his travels and returns home healthy by applying specific interventions.
