Salary: $95k-$160k (depending on experience)
About the role
The Cybersecurity Engineer II supports the Navy by designing, implementing, and securing enterprise IT and network systems in support of global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role focuses on cybersecurity engineering, system hardening, and integration of secure architectures.
Essential Functions:
•
Implement and maintain secure configurations for systems, networks, and applications.
•
Apply STIGs, patches, and security controls in accordance with RMF requirements.
•
Support vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
•
Assist in the development and maintenance of secure system architectures.
•
Support ATO documentation and cybersecurity engineering activities.
•
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system security.
Requirements
Required:
•
3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, IT security, or related field.
•
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•
