Main position objectives
The Fabricator position will set up, operate, saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
Position description – Tasks, responsibilities, competencies
•
Controls machines and processes using direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
•
Handles and moves objects using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
•
Inspecta equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of problems or defect.
•
Performa physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
•
Lifta raw materials manually or using hoist.
•
Measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
•
Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel & Stainless Steel.
•
Uses computers and computer systems to program and setup functions, enter data, or process information.
•
Reads blueprints.
•
Operates forklift
•
Tests, measures and adjusts machines when needed.
•
Provides a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task

Work Environment
Work in this position is both in an office and a factory floor environment, either locally or at a customer site. While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required.

Pay Range: USD 20.00 - 24.00 Hourly This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
