Job Description:
The Pipelayer is responsible for the installation of underground utility systems, including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain infrastructure. The role requires precision, teamwork, and a strong understanding of civil construction practices. Experience working with deep utilities is considered a strong asset.

What You Will Do:
•
Install storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain systems in accordance with drawings and specifications
•
Lay pipe, fittings, valves, and services to proper line and grade
•
Prepare trench bottoms, including bedding, grading, and compaction
•
Work safely in and around excavations, including shoring systems and trench boxes
•
Assist with pipe laser setup and grade checking
•
Connect services, manholes, catch basins, hydrants, and chambers
•
Coordinate closely with operators, foremen, and laborers
•
Follow utility locates and protect existing underground services
•
Ensure installations meet municipal and project quality standards
•
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
•
Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety plans
What You bring:

Salary Range:
$36-50 per hour based on experience
