About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical product manager to join the Discovery team. At Rover, the Discovery team is focused on driving scalable and diversified product-led growth across channels by increasing new bookings through optimized visibility and conversion.
This role leads Rover-wide AEO and SEO growth as a product surface, combining analysis, reporting, prioritization, stakeholder management, along with direct ownership and autonomous launch of new landing pages that grow organic and answer-engine visibility and new bookings.
Responsibilities
You will be tasked with discovering emerging AEO/SEO opportunities and focus areas for the team, evaluating those against other business priorities, and working with the development, content, design, analytics, and international teams to execute those projects. The ability to research ideas, formulate concrete proposals, set up and execute tests, measure test results, and collaborate with content and development teams is critical to success. Cross-functional engagement is essential.
You will also build and use AI-assisted workflows to move faster and cover more ground, for example opportunity discovery, answer-engine visibility tracking, analysis and reporting, page QA, and test design. You own the accuracy, quality, and outcome of everything you ship, whether or not AI helped produce it.
This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.
Your Experience:
•
5+ years of SEO experience spanning technical, content, international, and multi-brand optimizations as well as experience with, or a demonstrated point of view on, answer-engine optimization

Experience with testing, funnel analysis, and data analytics
•
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
•
Comfort with SQL and using spreadsheets to model opportunities (Excel/Google Sheets)
•
Experience in growth product and familiarity with marketing technology and tracking tools
•
Hands-on experience using LLMs or other AI tools to improve your own work (for example SQL, research synthesis, content or page QA, or automation), and sound judgment about what needs human verification
Your Qualifications:
•
BS in Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
•
Your curiosity and enthusiasm for growing Rover’s business
•
Your desire to explore new ideas and opportunities leveraging hypothesis-driven thinking, research, and experimentation
•
Your ability to partner with content and engineering to set a long-term vision for your product growth investment, then break it down into smaller investments to learn quickly
•
Your passion for understanding our customers and their needs, on both sides of the marketplace
•
Your creativity in exploring new potential growth tactics across multiple channels and leveraging the power of our pet-loving community
•
You can get the data you need, derive insights, and leverage it to make decisions and drive growth
•
You build repeatable AI-assisted workflows, document them so the team can reuse them, and verify outputs before they drive decisions or go live
•
