About the role
The Shevick group is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in early-to-mid 2027. This role offers opportunities to lead projects in synthetic methodology and/or complex molecule synthesis, with a focus on two key areas:
•
Synthetic Methodologies in Radical Chemistry: This project explores the generation of radical intermediates and their application to carbon–carbon bond-forming reactions.
•
Organosulfur Chemistry: This project develops transition-metal-catalyzed approaches to organosulfur coupling reactions and establishes robust analytical methods to characterize the products.
Responsibilities
The candidate will collaborate closely with graduate and undergraduate students in the lab. Results will be disseminated through high-impact, peer-reviewed scientific journals and presentations at scientific conferences.
