Duties and Responsibilities
· Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
· Supervise, coach, and develop production team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
· Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
· Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
· Collaborate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales teams to coordinate materials, production priorities, and customer requirements.
· Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods and work with appropriate departments to prevent shortages.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
· Track production metrics and prepare reports on productivity, quality, downtime, and labor performance.
· Ensure equipment is properly maintained and coordinate preventive maintenance as needed.
· Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
