About the role
We are looking for a professional, organised, and detail-oriented Accounting Officer who will become part of our Accounts team and contribute to our commitment to accuracy, compliance and high professional standards.
Key responsibilities include:
•
Submit and verify data through myDATA.
•
Maintain the chart of accounts and accounting software.
•
Perform General Ledger and account reconciliations.
•
Review accounting entries and transactions.
•
Support month-end/year-end closing and internal audits.
•
Prepare and submit INTRASTAT, VIES, VAT, and withholding tax returns.
•
Support compliance reviews and process improvements.
•
Liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
You’ll be a great match if you meet the following requirements:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
•
3+ years of experience in accounting and/or internal audit.
•
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and ERP systems.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
•
Experience with myDATA.
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
•
Live within 50km of Kavala or be willing to relocate immediately.
