With this understanding, Terac can intelligently allocate human capability to the work where it creates the most value for both our experts and customers. Today, our initial wedge is providing specialized experts for AI training, evaluation, market research, and other expert-driven research.
This future was not previously possible. Understanding people and work at this depth required more information and judgment than any organization could reasonably process. As a result, the labor market came to rely on crude proxies: résumés, credentials, applications, interviews, and personal networks. At Terac, we’re changing this by making it possible to synthesize thousands of signals about a person’s knowledge, performance, preferences, and potential while developing an equally detailed understanding of the work itself.
We place 1,000s of experts per month, pay our experts, on average, over $90/hr. We’re a team of 15 based in San Francisco, and we work with many leading research companies.
