Development Engineer - Extrusion Process Team
Location: Porto do Açu, São João da Barra, Brazil
About the Role
Good engineering is not done only at a desk. Some of the most important answers are found on the production floor, where materials, machines, settings and people meet in real production. In this role, you will work with that reality every day.
As Development Engineer in NOV’s Extrusion Process Team, you will help develop, improve and troubleshoot the extrusion processes behind some of the world’s most advanced flexible pipe systems. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Projects and R&D to understand technical challenges, find the root causes and turn good ideas into reliable solutions in production.
Previous extrusion experience is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. We are looking for an engineer who is curious, structured and willing to learn. Someone who asks why, who enjoys complex problems, and who wants to understand how a manufacturing process really behaves before deciding how to improve it.
