About the role
Kody is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Engineering to lead our technical organization through the next phase of growth. This is a role for someone who thrives in a high velocity, global and purpose driven environment.
As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering organization aligned with Kody’s values and mission. You’ll guide architectural decisions and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure and reliable platforms and products. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Operations to bring our roadmap to life while fostering a strong engineering culture rooted in technical excellence and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Setting and executing the engineering vision and technical direction in partnership with executive and product leadership.
•
Delivering engineering strategy that enables scalable and secure growth of Kody’s platform and services.
•
Drive engineering execution to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across all teams.
•
Promote a culture of feedback, mentorship and career development through structured reviews and ongoing coaching.
•
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Operations to align on priorities and roadmap planning.
•
Champion modern development practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, and agile methodologies.
•
Oversee architectural planning and ensure sound technical decision-making across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
•
Advocate for engineering needs and priorities at the leadership level, balancing business goals and technical feasibility.
•
Maintain and evolve onboarding processes, documentation, and workflows to support rapid team scaling.
•
Embed data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance into the Engineering culture.
