We are recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award, FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida. Our patients have access to ground-breaking therapies, in a community setting, and may participate in national clinical research studies of drugs and treatment protocols. In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Assist physician and RNs in the care of patients by performing one or more of the following duties:
•
Administering chemotherapy agents
•
Preparing chemotherapy agents
•
Patient assessments/triage
•
Medical record documentation
•
Patient/family education
QUALIFICATIONS
•
Active Florida LPN license required.
•
Experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital is preferred.
•
Prior Oncology experience preferred.
•
30 hour IV certification course OR completion of 30 hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment.
•
BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
•
Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
