Founded in 1939, Neuberger is a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager. From offices in 40 cities worldwide, the firm manages $567 billion in client assets (as of March, 2026) across a range of strategies—including equity, fixed income, quantitative and multi-asset class, private equity and hedge funds—on behalf of institutions, advisors and individual investors globally.
Overview:
Neuberger believes that material environmental, social and governance characteristics can be an important driver of long-term investment returns from both an opportunity and a risk mitigation perspective. We also understand that for some clients, the impact of their portfolio is an important consideration in conjunction with investment performance.
The Stewardship & Sustainable Investing Group sits across asset classes and is responsible for deepening Neuberger’s commitment to stewardship and sustainable investing by integrating financially material factors across fixed income, equities, and private investment strategies, as well as developing and launching new strategies. For impact strategies, the team works with clients around the world to understand their impact objectives and to develop innovative investment solutions and thought leadership.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team. Responsibilities:
•
Support the deeper integration of financially material factors into fundamental equity and credit research across the investment platform through the identification of emerging issues.
•
Support the continued enhancement of integrating climate analysis tools and stewardship activities into the investment process.
•
Contribute to related research and thought leadership activities to assist the Stewardship & Sustainable Investing Group with client requests, external presentations, and media and marketing activities.
•
Leverage AI-enabled productivity tools to improve analysis, documentation, and delivery of integration and stewardship priorities
•
Contribute end-to-end support of impact investing strategies, including working with portfolio managers and research analysts, reviewing fundamental research and impact data, developing impact measurement and reporting, valuation, and stock selection
