Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Electrical/Networks Supervisor at our Goldstrike operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all underground electrical equipment; direct supervision of electrical crews and contractors working in the electrical department’s area of responsibility; perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Underground Network and Communication Supervisor, the Underground Network and Communication Technician is responsible for the following:
•
Provide supervision for the electrical maintenance work force in the Underground Division
•
Responsible for carrying out construction and electrical maintenance plans in a safe productive work environment
•
Perform all network and communication maintenance duties required in the mine and on surface
Equipment includes, but not limited to fiber optic network, wireless network, Cisco switches, Radio and radio controls.
•
Responsible for administering company policies and procedures
•
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•
Three (3) years experience with underground network and communications preferred
•
Formal education in network and/or communications preferred
•
Possess strong knowledge/skills in Network & Communications repair, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of complex underground equipment preferred
•
Willingness to learn and apply new skills to repair all underground mobile mining equipment required
•
Strong dedication to safety and courageous leadership required
•
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP/EAM preferred
•
Proven safe work history required
•

•
