About the role
The JAVA Software Developer will design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications that support our travel services and business operations.
What You’ll Do:
•
Programming & Support: Perform complex programming tasks for legacy system modernization into a Java environment. Modify existing systems for cybersecurity compliance.
•
System Migration: Migrate legacy applications to updated platforms, ensuring
alignment with industry guidelines and boosting system uptime.
•
Solving & Optimization: Diagnose, isolate, and resolve software issues,
monitor system capacity and ensure applications’ connectivity to vendor APIs.
•
Documentation & Standards: Create software documentation and architecture diagrams. Adhere to development standards and security requirements.
•
Provide technical support for applications using Java, C#, jQuery,
AJAX, React, and SQL Server.
•
Use Visual Studio 2019/2022 for development, ensuring compatibility with major
web browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
•
Add functionality to streamline backend processes and improve system efficiency.
•
Implement disaster recovery procedures and provide Tier 2 technical support.
•
Collaborate to define system specifications, design architecture, perform testing,and document all source code.
