The Senior Metadata & Taxonomy Analyst is responsible for the configuration, execution, and quality control of content tagging and campaign taxonomy across enterprise content and marketing technology platforms. This role operates at the intersection of content systems and data workflows, ensuring that metadata and tagging structures are accurately implemented, maintained, and validated to support downstream analytics, reporting, and operational processes.
Working within a regulated omnichannel environment, this role executes day-to-day tagging activities, manages Claravine taxonomy templates and validation rules, and ensures proper metadata application within Veeva Vault (PromoMats / Vault Medical). The specialist plays a critical role in maintaining data quality, resolving tagging issues, and supporting system-driven automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across brands, regions, and agencies.
This position partners closely with the Tagging & Content Measurement Lead, Enterprise Content Systems, Digital Strategy and Enablement, and Data & Analytics teams to operationalize enterprise taxonomy frameworks and ensure alignment between content metadata, campaign tracking structures, and analytics requirements. The role also supports agency onboarding, troubleshooting, and ongoing enablement to drive correct and consistent tagging execution across all channels.
A key focus of this role is ensuring that tagging and metadata are implemented accurately and consistently at scale—through system configuration, validation controls, and continuous monitoring—enabling reliable measurement, attribution, and content performance insights across the full content lifecycle.
