We’re seeking a motivated, relationship-driven EdPlus Re-Entry Enrollment Specialist to join our Re-Entry team in the EdPlus Enrollment Center. Every day you’ll make a meaningful difference by providing specialized, high-touch enrollment support to former ASU students who are ready to return to their education. You will guide students who are no longer term-active through the steps that stand between them and enrollment, including reapplying, completing readmission requirements, and navigating any additional processes along the way.
As a consistent point of contact from initial inquiry through successful re-enrollment, you will build trusting, supportive relationships with students and keep them engaged and moving forward. Your work will directly support ASU’s broader re-entry strategy, including Operation Comeback and other re-engagement efforts. Your efforts will reach across digital and campus immersion populations, undergraduate and graduate students, and students both within and outside scholarship-supported pathways, all while you adhere to established policies and guidelines.
Essential Duties:
•
Serves as the primary point of contact for a caseload of stopped-out and non-term-active students, providing continuity from initial interest through successful re-enrollment, regardless of scholarship eligibility (including students with high balances, campus readmits, and returning graduate students).
•
Manages Operation Comeback Requests for Information (RFIs) and conducts individualized case reviews to identify each student’s pathway, requirements, and barriers to return, including academic standing concerns, degree or program changes, financial barriers, and administrative holds.
•
Guides students through re-application, readmission, admissions, registration, and other enrollment processes, including students who fall outside the Quick Re-Entry pathway.
•
Maintains proactive, timely communication with students through approved outreach channels, establishing clear next steps and following cases through completion to reduce stalled or abandoned re-entry attempts.
•
Provides clear, accurate guidance on re-entry policies, programs, timelines, and processes, and escalates complex cases to the appropriate specialized resource when needed.
•
Coordinates with Enrollment Services, colleges and academic units, Financial Aid Support Services, Student Business Services, the Registrar, and other university partners to resolve barriers while maintaining a coordinated student experience.
•
Supports proactive re-engagement campaigns for former students, including populations not currently term-active or not yet eligible for existing scholarship initiatives.
•
Contributes to graduation and completion efforts by identifying students near completion and coordinating appropriate reviews or referrals to support progress toward a credential.
•
Documents student interactions, case status, barriers, resolutions, and outcomes in university systems; analyzes caseload and enrollment data to identify trends, conversion opportunities, recurring barriers, and process improvements.
•
Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
Desired Qualifications:
•
Evidence of a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
•
Evidence of a people-oriented approach with experience guiding others through education-related processes and decisions, such as admissions, readmission, and enrollment.
•
Evidence of effective and persuasive communication and presentation skills.
•
Experience working with online programs and students in a higher education environment.
•
Experience developing, facilitating, and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with populations.
•
Experience using Salesforce, MS Office and Google Suite.
•
Evidence of strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
•
Experience following guidelines, structure, and established policy to deliver accurate and precise information.
•
Experience working with higher education enrollment, admissions, registration, or related student processes.
•
This position is only open to current employees of the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) system, which includes Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Arizona.
NOTE: Please answer the following questions in your cover letter:
