Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Engineering team in our Beauchamp (95290) facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of automotive plastic fasteners and small components, involved from initial concept through to serial production.
As the technical reference for your projects, you will work closely with Account Managers, Quality technicians, and Manufacturing teams to deliver new solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring technical robustness, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging projects within an international environment, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across several European locations.
What you will do
•
Design and develop plastic fasteners while ensuring compliance with customer specifications, internal standards, and project timelines.
•
Create robust and cost-effective technical solutions, optimized for industrialization and serial production.
•
Deliver CAD, customer drawings, and manufacturing drawings in accordance with project requirements.
•
Improve existing products to enhance functionality and quality.
•
Update product drawings and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
•
Lead Product DFMEA and validation plan elaboration activities.
•
Provide technical support to Account Managers when in contact with customers.
•
Initiate technical exchanges with other ITW plants and global engineering teams.
