Responsibilities
What you’ll actually do
•
Ship production code in your first weeks — real features, real customers, real money moving.
•
Own features end to end: design, build, test, deploy, watch the metrics, fix what you broke.
•
Use AI across your workflow — coding, debugging, testing, research, automating the boring parts — and push the frontier of how your team uses it, not just how you do.
•
Work directly with Product, Design, and senior engineers. Ask the dumb question early; it’s cheaper than the wrong build.
•
Learn the domain deeply. B2B fintech in LatAm is genuinely hard — multiple countries, multiple regulators, real consequences. That’s what makes it interesting.
Two tracks — tell us which one fits you
Product Engineering (fullstack, backend-leaning) Backend services, APIs, and the interfaces on top of them. Our stack leans Java/Spring Boot, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS — but we don’t expect you to have used all of it. We expect you to have gone deep on something and to pick up the rest fast.
Data & ML Engineering Pipelines, models, and the systems that make them useful in production — risk scoring, fraud signals, spend intelligence. Python, SQL, and modern data tooling. Applied and in production, not just notebooks.
Who you are
Requirements
•
You’re at the start of your software career. Whether you finished your degree last month or took a different route to get here, this role is scoped for engineers without prior full-time software experience — and we’ll treat you accordingly.
•
A technical foundation. CS, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar — or equivalent ability you can demonstrate in code.
•
You’ve built things, and you can point at them. A GitHub, a deployed app, a repo people actually use, a hackathon win, a contribution to open source, a bot that solved a real problem for real users. One thing you built and can defend in depth beats a list of ten you touched.
•
You’re AI-native and you can prove it. Not “I’ve used ChatGPT.” We mean: you’ve built with AI — agents, RAG, evals, fine-tunes, a tool that automates something you were sick of doing — and you use AI tools every day in how you code. Come ready to show us the artifact and walk us through the decisions.
•
Strong fundamentals. Data structures, algorithms, systems thinking. Competitive programming (ICPC, OMI, Codeforces), a strong thesis, or serious research all count and we want to hear about them.
•
English proficiency. English is our corporate language — you’ll read, write, and discuss technical work in it daily.
•
Ownership. You surface problems before they become blockers, you push things over the finish line, and you don’t wait to be told what to do. This is the single trait we screen hardest for.

Clara’s Hybrid Policy
Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.
We don’t enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you’re expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
