Job Description & Summary:
PwC India is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant with hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Data Governance and Data Catalog solutions. This is a techno-functional role focused on leveraging market-leading data governance and catalog platforms to support enterprise data governance, data quality, and data catalog processes.
Responsibilities:
•
Define enterprise data governance strategy, roadmap, and implementation approach.
•
Design governance operating models including roles, responsibilities, RACI matrix, stewardship models, and policy enforcement mechanisms.
•
Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, data owners, stewards, IT teams, and business users.
•
Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, define governance operating models, and align business priorities.
•
Lead and mentor associates/senior associates across data governance implementations.
•
Manage end-to-end delivery of data governance workstreams across planning, design, build, testing, deployment, and adoption.
•
Own solution design for data catalog, metadata management, lineage, workflows, data quality, and stewardship processes.
•
Support proposal development, solutioning, effort estimation, and client presentations.
•
Contribute to go-to-market assets, accelerators, POVs, and reusable data governance frameworks.
Mandatory skill sets:
•
Proven experience leading end-to-end data governance/data catalog implementation workstreams across strategy, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption.
•
