Sentara is hiring a Cardiovascular Anesthesia Technologist at Sentara Norfolk General Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
Shift:
M-F 0700-1530
Call is required, nights and weekends
Rotating 11-7 shift
Job Description
A Cardiovascular Surgical Support Technologist plays a critical role in supporting anesthesiologists and surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures. This position involves preparing, operating, and maintaining anesthesia equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring a sterile and safe operating environment. The technician works collaboratively in high-pressure settings to contribute to successful patient outcomes.
Education

Bachelors degree in a science related field or graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program REQUIRED.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $26.17 - $40.93 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
