Job Description Summary
Trains carry people and goods across continents, and each one depends on many parts working together as one system. Join GE Vernova to help make that happen, and to help power a more sustainable, reliable energy future.
You lead the work that brings rail components and products together into one high-performing system. You guide requirements, integration, and testing from early concept through production and operation. You are an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working across teams, and helping colleagues grow.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
•
Integrate systems: Combine components and products so the full system performs well and is easy to operate.
•
Manage requirements: Define and track product and system requirements and specifications, and pass them down to component teams, suppliers, and partners.
•
Verify and validate: Plan and lead validation and verification activities, including system-level testing.
•
Manage interfaces: Coordinate the connections between components and the teams that build them.
•
Control risk and quality: Guide design teams on critical-to-quality (CTQ) factors and risk trade-offs, using data analysis to support your recommendations.
•
Control configuration: Own the product configuration and the configuration control process.
•
Lead and mentor: Lead small projects, share best practices, build agreement on sensitive topics, and coach less experienced colleagues.
