About the role
Saalex is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator in Ridgecrest, CA to support the design, implementation, security, and sustainment of enterprise network and computing environments. The selected candidate will serve as a technical lead for network infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, systems administration, and modernization initiatives supporting mission-critical operations.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $105k-$120k annually (depending on experience)
Work Location: Onsite. Ridgecrest, CA.
Essential Functions:
•
Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network and computer systems.
•
Support WAN, BAN, LAN, and wireless (Wi-Fi) infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies.
•
Lead network modernization, upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and infrastructure sustainment activities.
•
Implement network security controls, system hardening, STIG compliance, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
•
Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and configuration baselines.
•
Support cybersecurity audits, compliance requirements, and Government-directed security controls.
•
Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and customer stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
•
Other duties as assigned or required.
