Job Overview
The Vendor Qualification Data Analyst supports IQVIA Laboratories and additional IQVIA RDS business units as designated, ensuring that suppliers are appropriately onboarded, qualified, and maintained in accordance with IQVIA’s vendor risk management and compliance requirements. The role acts as a central coordination point between vendors, internal stakeholders, and IQVIA Risk and MyVendor teams to enable timely vendor setup, accurate qualification and ongoing periodic reviews.
Essential Functions
•
Review and align existing vendor qualifications within IQVIA’s Vendor Qualification Solution, including assessment of spend and intended use, to ensure qualifications remain fit for purpose.
•
Liaise with business stakeholders on vendor prioritization (for submissions)
•
Perform as-needed data analysis to help determine recommendations for qualification and subsequent vendor submissions
•
Prepare and complete vendor qualification submissions end‑to‑end, applying judgment to determine appropriate scope, commodity classification, and qualification requirements.
•
Consult & advise business stakeholders and vendors on vendor qualification questions and commodity selection to ensure accurate submissions.
•
Act as the primary coordination point between vendors, business stakeholders, and IQVIA Risk SMEs to drive qualification completion.
•
Track qualification progress and follow up to prevent delays or lapses.
•
Act as an internal subject matter expert on Vendor Qualification for IQVIA Laboratories, and other RDS BUs as assigned.
•
Develop and continuously improve intake process from stakeholders (how to request vendor adds, vendor ‘catch up’ work)
•
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
•
Prior 3 year’s experience in vendor management, procurement operations, quality/compliance, or data‑driven administrative roles.
