About the Job:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is AI-first in how they think, build and work. This means using modern AI coding tools every day to move faster, solve complex problems and improve development quality—not simply adding AI to an existing product. You will take ownership of important product and platform initiatives from initial design through production. You will work across our AI agents, backend services, hotel integrations and internal tools to build systems that are reliable, scalable and safe for real-world guest interactions.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:

Design, build, test and deploy production-grade software across Sadie’s AI and integration platform
•
Develop reliable workflows that combine large language models, business logic, APIs and real time hotel data
•
Build and improve integrations with hotel PMS, booking, payment, telephony and customer service platforms
•
Use AI development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle, including research, prototyping, coding, testing, debugging, documentation and code review
•
Improve the accuracy, latency, reliability and cost efficiency of Sadie’s AI agents
•
Build evaluation frameworks, monitoring and safeguards for AI-driven workflows
•
Diagnose complex production issues across distributed systems, third-party APIs and real-time voice interactions
•
Make sound architectural decisions while maintaining the speed and practicality required in a growing company
•
Collaborate directly with product, customer success, hotel partners and other engineers to translate operational problems into effective technical solutions
•
Mentor other engineers and raise the standard for engineering quality, ownership and AI-first development across the team
•
Participate in code reviews and contribute to security, observability, testing and deployment best practices
•
Take responsibility for outcomes in production, not only for completing assigned development tasks
