About the role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented E&I Project Supervisor to join our team is responsible for the whole process from design up to asset hand-over to operations, accountable for the technical content, project co-ordination, planning and budget control. the incumbent will be required to lead meetings and able to work close together with other departments and give directions.
This position covers specialized E&I works on main equipment such as gas motors, gas compressors, generators and injection/export pumps or regular projects and it will be expected that you possess sound knowledge and practical experience on troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
Key responsabilities
•
Leading E&I technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to manage projects and troubleshoot technical issues.

They also play a role in project planning, progress monitoring, and ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and company procedures.
•
Defining project scopes of work for the contractor and vendors to allow accurate execution of the design & subsequent construction.
•
Incorporation of all HSE aspects into the project design and plans from an early stage to ensure that implemented systems comply to all Assala Gabon, National and International regulations and that they present no danger to staff, resources or environment.
•
Procurement: input material requirements into SAP-BP, providing technical input for evaluation of quotations and expediting material supply via the procurement department.
•
Produce E&I engineering deliverables required for the execution of works including but not limited to calculation notes, approved for construction drawings, site layouts, material specifications, detailed scope of work, tender documents, PID’s, cable schedules, logic diagrams, cause & effects matrix, etc…
•
Propose and develop E&I engineering solutions to address integrity or operations issues or as part of project engineering support
Requirements
•
Previous experience in a similar role
•
Bsc/Msc or similar degree in E/I am engineering or science.
•
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry in the design of equipment and piping systems
•
Good team spirit
•
Good organizational skills
•
Excellent Project Management skills.
•
Excellent mechanical discipline skills.
•
Good cross discipline skills in electrical & instrumentation engineering are an asset.
