Physiotherapist | MSK & Exercise Rehabilitation | Two Clinics, Sydney North
The role
Some physio roles keep you in one room with one kind of caseload. This one gives you range. You would join a multidisciplinary allied health practice and split your time between two clinics, treating a mix of spinal pain, shoulder and knee conditions, sports injuries, post-operative rehab and older adults. Exercise rehabilitation and clinical Pilates sit at the centre of how the team works, and your colleagues include exercise physiologists, a psychologist and other allied health professionals just down the hall.
The role is mostly clinic-based, with some home visits depending on what suits you.
Where you would work
•
Crows Nest: cafes for lunch, easy transport and a busy village feel
•
Brookvale: close to the northern beaches, with a well-established health and wellness scene and a great spot for a swim or walk before or after work
What your week could include
•
Assessing and treating spinal pain, shoulder and knee conditions and sports injuries
•
Guiding clients through post-operative rehabilitation
•
Working with older adults on strength, balance and confidence
•
Running clinical Pilates and exercise-based rehab programs
•
Building clear, goal-based plans and home programs so progress continues between sessions
•
Some home visits, with the amount to be discussed
•
Working alongside colleagues across allied health for coordinated care
