• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field and 5 years of experience.
• Requires experience with: Working in/with clients in the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry;
• Performing cross functional system level design; Designing architecture and migrating the legacy Mainframe Enrollment and Eligibility file processing applications into AWS, Python, and Spark based framework for Modernization;
• Tracking and guiding continuous improvement of digital maturity for discovery, delivery, and engineering practices; Using Jira for project management to track all phases of software development;
• Conducting causal analysis to identify root causes; Completing project lifecycle including project planning, scope/ schedule/ resource/finance/stakeholder management, and cross functional team management;
• Planning project approach, KPIs, and metrics for Project Tracking, Reporting, and Managing Financials; Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Scrum, Show and Tell, and Retrospection;
• Using IBM Mainframe and Electronic Data Interchange technologies to design system architecture, guide and review technical delivery by internal teams, and resolve architecture issues;
• Writing and modifying complex software application programs; Developing and supporting the parallel execution flow while the migration is in progress and until successful launch of the migration;
• Building Regression test frameworks, automating legacy manual processes in QA testing, and developing productivity/ Automation tools based on Rexx, ISPF, and Hiperstation;
• Building new CICS regions from scratch; Working with CICS, DBA, and Mainframe infrastructure teams to perform sanity tests; Automating existing manual tasks using REXX, ISPF, and CA 7;
• Reviewing and monitoring all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, design, code development, and testing and implementation; and
• Using: Cobol, JCL, DB2, Web Services, IBM Rational Developer for z systems, Electronic Data Interchange, Mercator, WTX8.2, and Abinito, Restful Microservices, REST APIs, library calls, and database queries.
