Job Description:
Loss Prevention Officer (Safety & Security)
This is an on-site safety and physical security position and is not a cybersecurity or remote role.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position serves as an experienced Asset Protection professional who supports safety, property damage, compliance, security, operational, and root cause investigations within the Retail Support Center. This position provides technical guidance, thorough documentation, incident follow-up, corrective action support, and mentorship to junior Asset Protection Officers while operating under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager for broader safety program leadership or complex matters.
What You’ll Do
•
Partners with the APM for safety execution, AP program administration, corrective action follow-up, and risk-reduction initiatives
•
Support OSHA-related administration, safety trend review, RCA follow-up, BBS participation, audit preparation, and compliance reviews in partnership with the APM and Safety/HSE
•
Conduct risk assessments and security evaluations; communicate findings and recommended follow-up actions
•
Mentor and train junior personnel on documentation, evidence preservation, patrols, audits, and routine investigation support
•
Participate in root cause analyses for injuries, near misses, and operational events; support corrective action development
•
Track corrective action status and follow up with responsible leaders as directed by the APM
•
Administer access control, CCTV, and security technology systems
