Key Responsibilities:
•
Coordinate regularly with customers and sales teams to understand their requirements and make necessary product development changes.
•
Conduct technical research on new trends/customer requirements to develop novel materials to align with upcoming requirements
•
Negotiate with suppliers and guide them through the development and bulk production processes to ensure timely delivery in line with customer requirements.
•
Liaise with internal teams to incorporate customer specifications into fabric development.
•
Coordinate with testing laboratories to ensure that product development requirements are adequately reflected in the final product.
•
Proactively identify the technological requirements of new projects and growth platforms, supporting innovative approaches to overcome technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
•
A Degree or Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institute, with 1–2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
•
Knowledge of fabric development, textile testing, and product development processes would be an added advantage.
•
