Reporting to the Fleet Readiness Manager, this role is to support the ongoing program of re-fits, repairs and refurbishment of our truck and trailer fleet interiors and exteriors.
Responsibilities
Main Duties
•
Responsibilities include working with other trades in a supporting role, carrying out general first fix joinery and second fix joinery.
•
Insulating and building the internal wall construction on new builds.
•
Ordering materials for builds from technical drawings.
•
Painting and maintaining the chassis, wheels, and associated kit for deployments.
•
Painting doors, doorframes, woodwork.
•
Installation of suspended ceilings.
•
Installation of Dibond walkways and external walkways.
Requirements
Experience- Essential
•
Time served joiner.
•
Understand site safety.
•
Ability to work with in a team environment.
•
Read and interpret technical drawings.
•
Proven ability to problem solve.
•
Trained in the use of power tools.
•
Trained in the use of cutting room joinery machinery.
Nice to have
Experience – Preferable

Other Requirements

Full UK residency and hold a valid driving license and have suitable transport provisions (public transport is not recommended due to location of offices)
